I've always been a pretty fast reader, but I often feel as though I don't retain as much knowledge as I do when I reread it going at a slower pace. Those speed reading courses are pretty good, but only if you put your full focus into the reading. This reminds me, though, that I need to do some reading. I haven't read a book in the longest time...in fact, I can't even remember the last book I read. I'm going to go buy a book right now so that I can read it. Reading this blog about reading has inspired me to read. I have no idea what that even means, but I'm glad I read it. You know, I think it’s a good thing that you’re a slow reader.
